Items 101-200, or auditory luxury 100 years later

I really like old things.

Pung Chow
faded and worn
little arts
and 100 years to hold.

I got two copies of the Adele CD one year for Christmas. I encountered one of them, unopened and way past returning, during this decluttering session. 100 years ago when the Pung Chow set was made it was a luxury item, a novelty.┬áThe people who played that game probably didn’t even have a radio.

100 years later and we live in a state of incredible auditory luxury, I’m streaming free music while I type this. My local park system puts on awesome free concerts all summer long. I can get music from the library any time I want. For Free.

Both the CD and the game will be going up on eBay.
